Los Angeles is a great city. There is so much to see and do, it would take years to try out every cool spot on the map. If you asked 10 different friends for the best thing in L.A. they would give you 10 different answers. As great as the city is though, it’s still nice to break out and reconnect with nature once in a while.
California is full of great trails and hiking spots, but you need a car that is able to take you on these adventures. There are some good choices out there, but you want something that is going to let you take full advantage of the great outdoors. The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas has a new trim level concept that is designed with trail seekers in mind.
2019 Volkswagen Atlas Basecamp Design
The best thing the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas has going for it is the base it is built off of. An Atlas is an incredibly powerful and spacious vehicle. The Basecamp will come with the Atlas’ 3.6L VR6 engine and its 276 horsepower output. It has more than enough power to hand the rough roads you’ll encounter on your adventures. The 4Motion all-wheel drive with drive mode select will help give you more control.
A few of the unique things the Basecamp offers will really make a difference when you head out. It is outfitted with fifteen52 Traverse MX wheels that give it full control of the terrain. The Basecamp will sport a custom body kit to give it a unique look. It will also sport a roof rack system with bike holders. Protective interior add-ons fill out the interior to give it some protection from the rough and tumble lifestyle.
