Choice is the most important thing to have when you go shopping. You wouldn’t like it if clothing stores only had one type of shirt and jeans. We all need a bit of variety to choose from, variety is the spice of life after all.

When it comes to cars, that variety can seem harder to find. A lot of cars might look similar and some people might not realize that every car model has several trim levels to choose from. The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon is a unique car already, but did you know it has five different trim levels to choose from? You can find the Arteon that matches your exact needs and desires.

2019 Volkswagen Arteon Trim Levels

There are some similarities between each trim level. Every Arteon shares a 2.0L turbocharged engine. Turbocharged engines maintain their efficiency and power without having to sacrifice either one. It puts out 268 horsepower and gets 20 city and 27 highway mpg. Now, let’s get into the subtle differences between the trim levels.

SE and SE 4MOTION

The Arteon SE is the base trim level for this vehicle. It comes with eight total speakers, satellite radio, and a USB connection. The SE also has keyless ignition, leather steering wheel, rear view camera, three-zone climate control, and cruise control. The seats are heated and made with leatherette. It has the ability to upgrade to 4MOTION all-wheel drive as well.

SEL

The SEL trim level, and higher trim levels, come with 4MOTION all-wheel drive as a standard feature. It also sports the VW digital cockpit with an eight-inch touchscreen display. The seats are made of leather in the SEL. It features an adaptive cruise control system to make the highways a bit more tolerable.

SEL R-Line

This trim level is the first to feature the unique R-Line design package. It gives the Arteon a unique front bumper and badging to signify the upscale nature. Much remains the same, but the R-Line package gives the SEL trim a different look and feel.

SEL Premium R-Line

The top of the line Arteon is worth every penny. The seats are ventilated and covered with premium leather. It has parking assist, parking sensors, and a front, side, and rear-view camera. The cabin is filled with 12 Dynaudio premium brand speakers and discrete surround sound.
