It might become scarce in the future though.

Volkswagen Beetle Ends Production

The Volkswagen Beetle has been around for what seems like forever. Everybody has seen dozens, if not hundreds, of Beetles in their lifetime. They are one of the most prevalent vehicles out there, but that won’t be the case for much longer. Volkswagen has recently announced that the Beetle will end its production soon. The 2019 Volkswagen Beetle will be the last model year for this iconic vehicle.

The Beetle played a vital part in Volkswagen’s rise to fame, but its time has come to an end. The end of the Beetle allows VW to free up production resources to work towards the new SUV that is coming out in 2021. This new SUV will slot below the Tiguan. The final Beetle ever produced will be displayed in the VW museum in Puebla, Mexico. A few custom Beetle’s will join Volkswagen of America’s collection of historic vehicles.
