The new year means there is a lot of change in the air. Everybody is setting their resolutions and finding out how they want to change for the future. It’s a new year, so that means it is time for a new you and new things.
It also means it is a good time to move on from things that are no longer needed. Old clothes or things we don’t use can be donated or thrown away. You can’t have a fresh start while still holding onto the past. Volkswagen announced that it would be moving on from the Beetle and that change is coming.
Volkswagen Announces 2020 Plans
If you stayed up to watch some of the New Year’s Eve festivities, then you might have caught a short film that Volkswagen had been working on. The film premiered during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020.” It was a final send-off for the Beetle which has meant so much to the Volkswagen brand. The vehicle has been around for decades, but 2019 would be the last time it was in production.
It wasn’t all about saying goodbye, though. There are plenty of new things in the works at VW. The logo will be more modern and flashier as we head into 2020. It is sleeker and slimmer for the new year. Volkswagen will be moving forward with its Drive Bigger messaging and the 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport. Bigger and better things are on the horizon for Volkswagen, so it is time to get excited.
