There are a lot of reasons why it is nice to have a car. The freedom offered by being able to travel freely and operate on your own schedule is nice. You can do a lot more when you don’t have to rely on friends or public transportation. Who doesn’t enjoy that kind of freedom?

Not every car can offer the same feeling of freedom and enjoyment though. The best cars feel exciting to drive and make your heart race when you put your foot on the gas. Volkswagen knows how important this is and designed the eighth generation of the Golf GTI with this kind of performance in mind. The new design and features emphasize dynamic driving and control.

Digitizing the Golf GTI was one of the first things that Volkswagen focused on. It features a new digital cockpit that contains a network of displays and controls. This new design helps the driver more intuitively control and customize the visual look of their display. Everything from the color range to the individual configuration of the infotainment system can be adjusted to your exact preference.

Under the hood, the GTI is sporting a 2.0L turbocharged engine that packs a lot of punch. It can generate up to 242 horsepower and reach a top speed of 155 mph. Its body has been reshaped to be longer, lower, and more ergonomic. With a lower drag rate, the GTI feels much sportier and more active than before. It was made to move and flow gracefully as you weave through the streets.
